Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Prepare biscuit dough by cutting each biscuit in half. Set aside.
Combine cooked beef mixture, frozen mixed vegetables, and cream of mushroom soup in a large bowl. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Arrange biscuit halves on top of the mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes. In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
