Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and bell pepper in a large skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned and tender. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard. Add the cooked beef mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, and pickles if using. Mix well.
  4. Pour the filling into a greased pie dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
