Ingredients

Ground Beef
  • 1 pound ground beef provides a rich and hearty flavor
  • 1 medium onion, diced adds sweetness and depth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced enhances the overall taste
  • 1 can (15 ounces) green beans, drained adds a nutritious crunch
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup binds the ingredients together
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese adds a gooey topping
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce adds a savory umami flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt enhances all flavors
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper adds a subtle kick
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika adds smokiness and color
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips (optional for topping) adds a crunchy texture

Equipment

  • large skillet
  • 9x13-inch baking dish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, over medium heat, add your pound of ground beef. Cook it until it’s nicely browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Stir in the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is melted. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
