Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Add chopped nuts and dried fruit to the dry mixture and mix well.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine honey (or maple syrup) and nut butter. Heat over low heat until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  7. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish to create an even layer.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  9. Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
