- Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Add chopped nuts and dried fruit to the dry mixture and mix well.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey (or maple syrup) and nut butter. Heat over low heat until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish to create an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
- Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
