  • 0.5 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup whipped cream optional, for topping
  • sliced bananas and crushed vanilla wafers for garnish

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a medium-sized mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the protein powder to the mashed bananas and stir gently to combine.

  5. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and bubbles, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
