  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • large pot
  • large skillet
  • 9x13-inch baking dish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta with the beef mixture, stirring gently until well coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
