Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken by rinsing, drying, and cutting it into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add green chilies.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the pot and stir to coat. Pour in chicken broth and add white beans. Sprinkle in spices and stir well.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Let simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cream or sour cream. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
