Cut mozzarella cheese into sticks about 3 to 4 inches long and place on a plate.
Whisk the egg in a bowl. In another bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Dip each cheese stick in the egg, then roll in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place on a baking sheet.
Freeze the coated sticks for at least 30 minutes. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry the sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with marinara sauce.
