Method

  4. In another bowl, whisk together the unsweetened applesauce, maple syrup (or honey), almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
