- Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and pour lemon garlic butter sauce over it. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
