  • 1 cup rolled oats Provides fiber

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Natural sweetener
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Gives chocolatey taste
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder Boosts protein content
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips Adds extra chocolatey goodness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balances sweetness

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients (rolled oats, cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, salt) in a large bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients (almond butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract) in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Roll into bite-sized balls.
  5. Chill the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for at least 30 minutes.
