  • 1/2 cup protein powder Choose either vanilla or chocolate.
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips Optional for a touch of sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts Optional for extra crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balances the sweetness.

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine the natural peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using. Press the mixture into an 8x8-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Once firm, lift out using parchment paper and cut into bars.
