  • 1 pound ground beef provides a rich and hearty base
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt essential for seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper adds subtle heat

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce adds umami and richness
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese shredded
  • 2 cups cooked rice or cauliflower rice serves as the base

Method
 

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper into thin strips and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked, draining excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper to the skillet with the cooked beef. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the mixture, cover, and let sit for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve over cooked rice or cauliflower rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
