  • 1 pound ground turkey Lean protein base.

  • 1 small onion Chopped finely.
  • 1 each bell pepper Diced.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For flavor.

  • 2 cups fresh spinach Nutritious addition.

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm up. Add ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir occasionally until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.
  2. Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Then, add fresh spinach and stir until wilted, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Combine the turkey and vegetable mixture, stirring to meld flavors. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Spoon the mixture into bowls. If using eggs, fry or scramble them separately and place on top. Garnish with fresh herbs and drizzle with hot sauce if desired.
