  • 1 pound beef chuck roast Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 8 ounces ramen noodles
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs optional adds creaminess
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Prepare all ingredients by cutting the beef, mincing garlic, grating ginger, and slicing green onions.
  2. Set up the slow cooker by adding beef, broth, water, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until beef is tender.
  4. Add ramen noodles 30 minutes before serving, ensuring they are submerged in the broth.
  5. Stir in baby spinach until wilted, then serve with toppings.
