Ingredients
  

Ground Beef
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup hot honey or regular honey mixed with a pinch of cayenne
  • 2 cups cooked rice white or brown
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat, then add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add hot honey, and stir to coat the beef. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Assemble bowls with cooked rice, honey beef mixture, steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
