Ingredients
  

Ground Turkey
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Lean ground turkey is recommended.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Grated fresh ginger.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced garlic.
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Brown Sugar For sweetness in the sauce.
  • 2 cups Vegetables Bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.
  • 2 cups Rice or Quinoa Cooked, as the base for the bowl.

Method
 

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients, chop vegetables, and measure out necessary items.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add oil, and cook ground turkey until browned and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the cooked turkey and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Add prepared vegetables to the skillet and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until tender but crisp.
  6. Serve the mixture over rice or quinoa and garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
